Promotion of Indigenous and Nature Together

ASEAN Peoples” Forum was held in Malaysia from 21 to 24 April. In the forum, 12 of Indigenous peoples network’s representatives participated. The representatives of the IPs in Myanmar discussed about the problems facing in the ground in different session such topics as land rights issues in Asia, Dam projects issues, migrant issues and other topics human rights condition across ASEAN countries. The participants from IP/EN network emphasized and discussed in those sessions relevant for indigenous peoples.
